Papitos

PapitosWent to Papito's for a weekday lunch walked right in to the serving counter where they had a beautiful arrangement of food. That day they were serving lechon (roast pork), baked chicken, chicken teriyaki, sweet glazed ham, milanesa steak and country fried steak. The sides were arroz moro (black beans and white rice mixed together), yellow rice, platanos, caldo gallego (collard green, bean and potato soup), garbanzo bean soup, white rice, black beans, and green beans.

I'm sure there was much more but I couldn't take my eyes off of all the food in front of me! They had a great lunch special, one meat and two sides for around $6.75. The servings were very generously heaped on my plate. I got the lechon, yellow rice and caldo gallego, my brother got the baked chicken, arroz moro and platanos.

PapitosThe atmosphere is nice, it's very clean and bright, great place to stop in for a quick bite since so much is already prepared. They cater and also have take out. On Friday and Saturday evenings they open up the very cute tapas section of Papito's where they have a different menu, alcohol and music.
